To fill the pendant, use a tiny funnel or create one from a small piece of paper. A toothpick or similar tool can help gently guide the ashes into the chamber. For a permanent seal, add a small drop of superglue to the threads before securing the cap. The wood is protected by a hard, durable, and water resistant finish that should last a lifetime with proper care. This pendant is not waterproof and should not be worn while swimming or showering.
Each pendant begins with a small square block of wood or acrylic material. The block is drilled and placed on a wood lathe where they are hand turned to their final shape. A hard, durable, water resistant finish is applied and the turned piece is fitted to a stainless steel core.
