Our Glass Heart of Remembrance is a meaningful way to honor someone you love. Each piece is hand-crafted using a small amount of cremation ash carefully encase into the backside of the heart. The ashes naturally settle along the edges, creating a soft, cloud-like pattern that gently frames the flower at the center. Inside the heart is a sculpted glass bloom, formed petal by petal in the flame. This piece has a smooth, comforting weight in the hand. It can be displayed on a shelf, bedside table, or memorial space in your home. Many families place it where sunlight can illuminate the petals, allowing the colors and details to glow softly through the glass.

How it’s made

When creating memorial pieces I carefully work cremation ash into molten glass, sealing it within layers of color and form. The process transforms fragile elements into something lasting, each piece unique, hand shaped, and made with care. For me this work is about more than glassblowing; it is about honoring memory and giving families something meaningful to hold onto.

How to Send the Ashes

Place the required amount of ashes in two tightly sealed Ziplock bags.
Clearly write your name and telephone number on the bag using permanent marker, or place a small card with your name and phone number inside the bag.
Use the USPS Small Cremated Remains Shipping Kit, these kits are free and can be ordered online.

The USPS requires cremated remains be shipped using Priority Mail Express. Pack the bagged ashes securely inside the kit following the included instructions.
Bring the package to the post office counter, please do not place it in a drop box.
Keep your receipt and tracking number. Our artists will also send tracking when your memorial is shipped from their studio.

Show a quick packing checklist
