Place the required amount of ashes in two tightly sealed Ziplock bags.

Clearly write your name and telephone number on the bag using permanent marker, or place a small card with your name and phone number inside the bag.

Use the USPS Small Cremated Remains Shipping Kit, these kits are free and can be ordered online. Order your free USPS kit →

The USPS requires cremated remains be shipped using Priority Mail Express. Pack the bagged ashes securely inside the kit following the included instructions.

Bring the package to the post office counter, please do not place it in a drop box.

Keep your receipt and tracking number. Our artists will also send tracking when your memorial is shipped from their studio.
Questions About Men’s Cremation Rings
A small portion of cremation ash is carefully placed into the ring’s inlay channel, then permanently sealed beneath a clear protective coating inside the finished band.
This ring requires approximately 2 tablespoons of cremation ash. Rings by Johan need this amount so the artist has enough material to prepare the ash inlay properly for the finished design.
Yes. Men’s cremation rings are made to be worn and enjoyed as part of everyday life. The cremated remains are permanently incorporated and securely sealed within the finished memorial, and normal contact with water during daily wear is fine.
For everyday cleaning, simply wipe your cremation ring with a soft microfiber cloth.
