This glass heart paperweight is handcrafted with your loved one or pet’s cremation ashes blended into the colored glass. As it’s worked in the flame, the ashes create flowing patterns and ribbons of color – a design that’s uniquely yours.

It catches light from every direction, revealing new depth and color as you move it or as light shifts throughout the day. Place it where you’ll see it often – on your desk while you work, on a bedside table, on a shelf in a room you spend time in. It becomes part of your space naturally, beautiful enough that people notice it. A glass paperweight that’s as beautiful as the person it honors.

How it’s made
Each piece is carefully flameworked by hand on the torch in Greg’s own glassblowing studio. After screening out the finest ash for each encasement, Greg uses borosilicate colored glass to achieve stunning optical effects that allow you to see the encased ashes through the layers of glass.

How to Send the Ashes
  1. Place the required amount of ashes in two tightly sealed Ziplock bags.
  2. Clearly write your name and telephone number on the bag using permanent marker, or place a small card with your name and phone number inside the bag.
  3. Use the USPS Small Cremated Remains Shipping Kit, these kits are free and can be ordered online.

  4. The USPS requires cremated remains be shipped using Priority Mail Express. Pack the bagged ashes securely inside the kit following the included instructions.
  5. Bring the package to the post office counter, please do not place it in a drop box.
  6. Keep your receipt and tracking number. Our artists will also send tracking when your memorial is shipped from their studio.
Show a quick packing checklist
  • Ashes should be packaged in two, tightly sealed Ziplock bags, labeled with your name and telephone number (not the name of the deceased).
  • Make sure the name on your shipment matches the name used when placing the order, so our artist can easily identify your package.
