Kat says, “Using the finest quality epoxy, I mix ashes with real sand from the beaches of Florida. I then add real, hand-picked shells into the sand and finish with epoxy waves. Each layer takes about 24 hours to dry.”
Kat says, “I started in 2018 after a trip to Florida. I was inspired by the tranquility of the sea and wanted to recreate it for inside the home. I began making memorials after my Pop-Pop passed away. He loved Florida, and I figured there was no better way to memorialize him than with a recreation of the beach. Since then, I have made hundreds of memorials, and I absolutely love what I do.” 💗
