Questions About Cremation Urn Necklaces
+What is a cremation urn necklace?
A cremation urn necklace is memorial jewelry with a small hollow chamber designed to hold a tiny amount of cremation ash. These necklaces are often made from sterling silver or stainless steel and usually close with a threaded screw, cap, or sealed opening.
+How do you put ashes in an urn necklace?
To put ashes in an urn necklace, open the small screw or cap, use a filling funnel or narrow paper guide to add a tiny amount of cremation ash, then close the pendant securely. Many families choose to add a small amount of jewelry-safe adhesive to the threads for extra security.
+How much ash fits in a cremation urn pendant?
A cremation urn pendant holds only a very small amount of ash, usually less than a teaspoon. The exact amount depends on the size and shape of the pendant, but urn jewelry is made for a symbolic portion of ashes rather than a large quantity.
