Our Oceanside Memorial Ring Dish with Cremation Ashes is a simple, meaningful way to honor someone who loved the ocean. It is a beautiful keepsake for holding rings or other small items while keeping their memory close.

Each piece is handmade using sand, seashells, resin, and a small amount of cremation ash that is carefully blended into the sand and permanently sealed within the design.

If you would like to make it even more personal, you are welcome to send your own sand and small seashells from a place that was special to you or your loved one. We recommend sending around 20 seashells that are 1" or smaller. The artist will use what is needed and return the rest with your finished memorial. You may also add a name, date, or short quote at no additional cost.

How it’s made

Kat creates each memorial using high-quality epoxy and real sand collected from the beaches of Florida. A small amount of cremation ash is carefully mixed into the sand, along with hand-picked shells chosen for their natural beauty and texture. The piece is then built in layers, finished with epoxy waves that create depth and movement. Each layer requires approximately 24 hours to cure before the next is added, resulting in a thoughtfully crafted memorial inspired by the calm and rhythm of the ocean.

How to Send the Ashes

Place the required amount of ashes in two tightly sealed Ziplock bags.
Clearly write your name and telephone number on the bag using permanent marker, or place a small card with your name and phone number inside the bag.
Use the USPS Small Cremated Remains Shipping Kit, these kits are free and can be ordered online.
Order your free USPS kit →
The USPS requires cremated remains be shipped using Priority Mail Express. Pack the bagged ashes securely inside the kit following the included instructions.
Bring the package to the post office counter, please do not place it in a drop box.
Keep your receipt and tracking number. Our artists will also send tracking when your memorial is shipped from their studio.
