Sands of Time Partner Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all Sands of Time referral partners, including funeral homes, cremation providers, organizations, influencers, and individual participants who share Sands of Time with families or communities they serve.

Partner Program Terms & Conditions

Whether you’re a funeral home, crematory, influencer, or individual representative, our affiliate program is designed to reward you for sharing our handcrafted memorials with the families and communities you serve. All approved partners are eligible to earn a 20% commission on referred sales, including all future orders placed by that client through our ongoing referral attribution system.

Once a referred client places their first order and creates an account, they are permanently connected to the referring partner through our referral attribution system. This ensures you continue to earn commissions on any future purchases made by that client, regardless of when they return.

Cookie Duration

Our system uses a 365-day tracking cookie. When someone clicks your unique partner link and completes a purchase within one year, the referral will be credited to your partner account. The client must create an account during checkout for the cookie and ongoing referral attribution to function properly.

Important Tracking Note

If a client visits our website directly (by typing in www.CremationArtGlass.com or using a saved bookmark), rather than clicking through your partner link, we are unable to automatically track or credit the sale. To ensure proper attribution, we encourage you to always share your partner link when sharing Sands of Time with families.

Manual Attribution

If you believe someone placed an order without using your partner link, please reach out. We’re happy to manually review the order and, when appropriate, assign attribution so you receive your commission payout.

Partner Dashboard Access

After creating your partner account, you’ll have access to your own dashboard where you can:
  • Copy your unique partner link
  • Create custom tracking links for individual products
  • Generate a QR code connected to your partner referral link, perfect for printed materials, arrangement packets, signage, or family resources. When scanned, referrals are automatically connected to your partner dashboard for proper attribution.
You can also view referral activity, commissions, and reporting details anytime through your dashboard.

Refund Grace Period

All partner referrals and partner orders remain subject to Sands of Time store policies and cancellation terms. Orders canceled within 24 hours of purchase are eligible for a full cancellation refund. Orders canceled after 24 hours but within 3 days are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Due to the custom nature of memorial artwork, cancellations and refunds are generally not available after 3 days. Partner commissions are issued after the applicable 3-day cancellation period has expired.

Program Integrity

We are committed to building meaningful, respectful partnerships with everyone who represents our work. To protect the integrity of our partner program and the families we serve, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate any partner account at our discretion if we believe the program is being misused, manipulated, or if our brand is being misrepresented in any way.

Our goal is to ensure this program reflects the care, trust, and professionalism that families expect when choosing a memorial with us.

Terms and Conditions

At Sands of Time, we approach every memorial with care, reverence, and craftsmanship. The following terms are designed to ensure transparency and mutual understanding, so you can feel confident in your purchase.


1. Our Commitment to You

Each memorial we create is handcrafted with care, intention, and deep respect for your loved one. Because we use traditional glassblowing and lampworking techniques — combined with cremation ash — every piece is as unique as the life it represents.

Please know that slight variations in color, shape, and size are a natural part of the handmade process. These differences are not considered imperfections but rather a testament to the individuality of every memorial. We do our very best to stay true to the style and palette you’ve selected, while allowing the glass to form organically, as it’s meant to.


2. Return Policy

Due to the deeply personal and custom nature of our work, we do not accept returns.

That said, your satisfaction matters to us. If something doesn’t feel right about your order, please reach out. We’ll always do our best to listen, assess, and explore thoughtful solutions with you.

Please keep in mind:

  • We cannot guarantee exact color matches, shapes, or sizes.

  • Each piece is made by hand and will differ slightly from reference images.

  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during transit.


3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel your order:

  • Within 24 hours of placing it, you’ll receive a full refund.

  • Within 7 days: A 20% cancellation fee applies to cover time and materials.

  • After 7 days: Your piece has already begun its journey, but we offer these options:

    • We can craft your memorial without ashes

    • We can issue a digital gift card for the full amount

    • We can pause your order indefinitely, whether for 2 weeks or 2 years

    • Or we can Pay it Forward to a grieving family in need, in your loved one’s honor


4. Production & Shipping Timeline

Memorials are made in the order in which they are received. If your order includes items from more than one artist, they will ship separately from each artist’s studio.

Please allow extra time for custom work or during the holidays.

Christmas orders cannot be rushed — thank you for ordering early.

Estimated turnaround times are listed on each artist’s page and may vary slightly.

International Shipping
When shipping our memorials internationally, the cost is generally between $15 – $35 USD, depending on weight and destination. When placing your order, please select the international shipping option. We will contact you for your international shipping payment via email after your order has been created by our artist.
