Tip: make sure the name on your shipment matches the name used at checkout, so the artist can easily identify your package.
  1. Place the required amount of ashes in two tightly sealed Ziplock bags.
  2. Clearly write your name and telephone number on the bag using permanent marker, or place a small card with your name and phone number inside the bag.
  3. Use the USPS Small Cremated Remains Shipping Kit, these kits are free and can be ordered online. Order your free USPS kit →
  4. The USPS requires cremated remains be shipped using Priority Mail Express. Pack the bagged ashes securely inside the kit following the included instructions.
  5. Bring the package to the post office counter, please do not place it in a drop box.
  6. Keep your receipt and tracking number. Our artists will also send tracking when your memorial is shipped from their studio.
Questions About Cremation Touchstones
A small amount of cremation ash is layered into molten glass during the flame-working process, then permanently sealed inside the finished memorial.
Approximately ¼ teaspoon of cremation ash is needed to create each memorial touchstone.
Every cremation touchstone is handcrafted individually, so the silver fume patterns, ash placement, and galaxy-like effects naturally vary from piece to piece.
