This Hawaiian Koa wood urn pendant is hand-turned with a band of crushed abalone shell inlaid into the center. The curly Koa grain brings natural warmth, while the abalone adds iridescent color that shifts in the light. A black stainless steel chamber holds ashes, accessed by unscrewing the top cap. Each pendant varies in grain pattern and abalone distribution within the inlay. Finished with a protective water-resistant coating. Also available as a keychain.

How it’s made
Each pendant begins with a small block of wood. It is drilled and placed on a lathe, where it is carefully hand-turned to its final shape. A hard, durable, water-resistant finish is applied, and the turned piece is fitted to a stainless steel core.

How to Fill & Care for Your Pendant
To fill the pendant, use a small funnel or create one from a folded piece of paper or note card. A toothpick or similar tool can help gently guide the ashes into the chamber.

For a permanent seal, add a small drop of superglue to the threads before securing the cap.

The wood is protected by a hard, durable, water-resistant finish designed to last a lifetime with proper care.

This pendant is not waterproof and should not be worn while swimming or showering.
