This glass cremation pendant holds a small amount of ashes from your loved one or beloved pet, permanently infused into the glass during the glassmaking process. The pendant is shaped like a heart with a curved, sweeping design that divides the piece into two flowing sections. Each heart features a speckled, textured appearance where the ashes create subtle patterns throughout the glass.

Each piece is handcrafted and designed for daily wear, so the exact pattern and ash distribution will vary from piece to piece. It’s a personal way to keep the memory of someone you’ve lost close to your heart.

How it’s made
Ryan creates his memorials using borosilicate glass (often known as Pyrex), a propane-oxygen torch, and a collection of specialized hand tools. Cremation ash is first encased within clear glass. The piece is then shaped using heat and gravity while Ryan carefully works the molten glass by hand. To add depth and warmth, he fumes the glass with either sterling silver or 22k gold, a process where precious metal is heated until it’s fumes bonds to the surface of the glass. The finished memorial is permanently sealed and carefully cooled to ensure lasting strength and beauty.

How to Send the Ashes
  1. Place the required amount of ashes in two tightly sealed Ziplock bags.
  2. Clearly write your name and telephone number on the bag using permanent marker, or place a small card with your name and phone number inside the bag.
  3. Use the USPS Small Cremated Remains Shipping Kit, these kits are free and can be ordered online.

  4. The USPS requires cremated remains be shipped using Priority Mail Express. Pack the bagged ashes securely inside the kit following the included instructions.
  5. Bring the package to the post office counter, please do not place it in a drop box.
  6. Keep your receipt and tracking number. Our artists will also send tracking when your memorial is shipped from their studio.

  • Ashes should be packaged in two, tightly sealed Ziplock bags, labeled with your name and telephone number (not the name of the deceased).
  • Make sure the name on your shipment matches the name used when placing the order, so our artist can easily identify your package.
