These beautiful memorial heart pendants are an endearing way to honor a loved one. Each unique piece is carefully infused with a small amount of cremation ash during the glassmaking process. It serves as a timeless tribute, allowing you to carry their memory with you wherever you go.

How it’s made
Ryan creates his memorials using borosilicate glass (often known as Pyrex), a propane-oxygen torch, and a collection of specialized hand tools. Cremation ash is first encased within clear glass. The piece is then shaped using heat and gravity while Ryan carefully works the molten glass by hand. To add depth and warmth, he fumes the glass with either sterling silver or 22k gold, a process where precious metal is heated until it’s fumes bonds to the surface of the glass. The finished memorial is permanently sealed and carefully cooled to ensure lasting strength and beauty.

How to Send the Ashes
  1. Place the required amount of ashes in two tightly sealed Ziplock bags.
  2. Clearly write your name and telephone number on the bag using permanent marker, or place a small card with your name and phone number inside the bag.
  3. Use the USPS Small Cremated Remains Shipping Kit, these kits are free and can be ordered online.

  4. The USPS requires cremated remains be shipped using Priority Mail Express. Pack the bagged ashes securely inside the kit following the included instructions.
  5. Bring the package to the post office counter, please do not place it in a drop box.
  6. Keep your receipt and tracking number. Our artists will also send tracking when your memorial is shipped from their studio.
Show a quick packing checklist
  • Ashes should be packaged in two, tightly sealed Ziplock bags, labeled with your name and telephone number (not the name of the deceased).
  • Make sure the name on your shipment matches the name used when placing the order, so our artist can easily identify your package.
