Johan began making distinctive wooden rings on a lathe before establishing his family-run jewelry studio in 2008. His work has since become known for imaginative design, precision craftsmanship, and an exceptional range of natural, historic, and uncommon materials.

Johan can preserve cremation ash, human hair, pet fur, whiskers, horsehair, hoof material, instrument strings, and other personally meaningful elements within his custom memorial jewelry. These can be combined with materials such as meteorite, dinosaur bone, whiskey-barrel oak, antler, ebony, rosewood, mokume gane, and precious metals to create rings, cufflinks, and bracelets with a truly distinctive character.
